Its movement are the new calibers 8900 and 8901, with the latter enjoying a more luxurious finish for use in precious metal models., , For the design of the Globemaster, Omega looked back at their history and took cues from different noteworthy chronometers. The pie-pan dial is one of the features most loved in the Constellation models from the fifties and early sixties. The ridged bezel also appeared on models made in the sixties and seventies.
