The IWC Aquatimer reference 812 AD was introduced in 1967 and was IWCs first dive watch.The case was a so0-called Super Compressor type, with its distinctive twin crowns and rotating bezel. Water resistant up to 200 meters, the Aquatimer 812 was powered by IWCs own caliber 8541., , The reference 812 AD (AD for Automatic / Date) was changed to 1812 in the early 1970s.
